Delete Your Data | Essential Blend

You can ask us to delete the personal data that Essential Blend holds about you. This page explains what gets removed, what we may briefly keep, and how to make the request. Essential Blend is operated by Corentin Demougeot, an independent app developer based in Finland, who acts as the data controller.

This can’t be undone

Deleting your account permanently removes your saved recipes, your oil collection, and your profile. There is no way to restore them afterwards, so please export or note down anything you want to keep before you continue.

The fastest way: delete in the app

If you can sign in, the quickest option is to delete your account yourself; it happens immediately, with no waiting:

Open Essential Blend and go to Settings → Delete account.
Confirm when prompted. Your account and its content are removed straight away.

If you can no longer access the app or your account, use the email request form further down this page instead.

What gets deleted

Your account: your email address and password.
Your saved recipes: names, ingredients, quantities, and any notes.
Your oil collection: your “owned”, “to buy”, and “favorite” lists and any expiration dates you assigned.
Your profile: display name and any onboarding answers you provided.
Feedback you sent that is linked to your account.
The subscription identifier that ties your Pro access to your account.

On-device data (a cached copy of your recipes and collection and your app preferences) is removed when you uninstall the app.

What we may keep

After deletion, a few things may persist for a short time before being overwritten or, where the law requires it, retained:

Backups and provider request logs may hold data briefly before rotating out.
Feedback may be kept in aggregate to track fixes, disassociated from your account.
Purchase and payment records held by Apple or Google are governed by their own terms; we never receive or store your card details.

Request deletion by email

Fill in the form below and it will open your email app with a pre-filled message to our team. We’ll confirm within 1–2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
